Aprovechando que estamos analizando publicidad me gustaría que vierais (y pensarais) el corto "Happiness" de Steve Cutts. Merece la pena verlo varias veces, cada escena está llena de detalles.

The line Osvaldo Cavandoli (1ºC y 1ºD)

I don’t think you know the work of Italian cartoonist, Osvaldo Cavandoli! One of his most famous works is the series “The Line” which you can see in the animated video below.

I would like you to watch the video a couple of times. The first time you watch, I would like you to discover and enjoy it. What is it about? The second time you watch it, I want you to pay attention to what the line is like, how it is drawn; think about where the line is finely drawn and where it is thick. Why is it like that? What are the colors in the background? Do they have any meaning? Would you have done it in another way? What does it sound like? Why do you think it sounds like that?

This project, which is titled “The Line. Osvaldo Cavandoli,” will consist of you writing down your reflexion (thoughts) in your notebook. Your reflection will be the answers to the questions in the previous paragraph. Please answer the questions above in your notebooks. Then, you will draw in your notebook, a line like Cavondoli’s line.

You can create your own line or you can recreate a line that you see  in your bedroom, living room, or a line you see from the window!

Think about the colors you will use in your drawing. Think about if your line is going to be the same thickness throughout or if it will be a combination of thick and thin lines. Are you going to change any characters? What is the least amount of lines you have to draw for your figure to be recognizable?

When you are finished, take a picture of your drawing and send it to me!

La línea. Osvaldo Cavandoli

No creo que conozcáis el trabajo de Osvaldo Cavandoli, era un dibujante italiano. Uno de sus trabajos más reconocidos es la serie "La línea" de la que podéis ver a continuación un episodio.



Me gustaría que la vierais un par de veces. La primera para descubrirla y disfrutarla, ¿de qué trata?. En la segunda vez quiero que prestéis atención a cómo es la línea, cómo está dibujada, dónde es finita, dónde es gruesa, ¿por qué es así?; cómo son los colores del fondo, ¿tienen algún sentido? ¿lo habríais hecho de otra manera? ¿cómo es el sonido? ¿por qué pensáis que es así?

El trabajo cuyo título va a ser "La Línea. Osvaldo Cavandoli", consiste en apuntar vuestras reflexiones en vuestro cuaderno (las respuestas a todas las preguntas que os he planteado en el párrafo anterior) y dibujar, también en vuestro cuaderno, una línea como la de Cavandoli. 

Puede ser una línea inventada, puede ser la línea que recorre vuestro dormitorio, el salón, lo que se ve desde la ventana...

Pensad de qué color va a ser, si la vais a hacer toda del mismo grosor o vais a cambiarlo, si va a haber algún personaje, pensad qué es lo mínimo que hay que dibujar para que una forma se reconozca...

¡y cuando terminéis le hacéis una foto y me la enviais!
